What are Electrical Transformers?

Peopple often use an electrical transformer to transfer electrical energy from one circuit to another. They are a vital part of our power systems that allow us to use electricity in our homes and businesses. Transformers work by changing the voltage of an incoming electrical current. Finally, a buchholz relay is used as an indicator for any fault occurring within the core or windings of the transformer.

Lastly, a buchholz relay can be found within the oil system of a transformer tank as it continuously monitors pressure changes, temperature changes, and any gas accumulation within the winding insulation.
